How To Tie Your Shoes
step#1: first make a X with the two laces, then take one lace and loop it over and then under the other lace, you should end up with an X with a knot in the middle then pull the laces down in the opposite directions to make a knot snug to your foot.
step#2: take the right lace and make a loop or bunny ear holding it between your forefinger and thumb
step#3: then take the left lace and make a bunny ear like the other one
step#4: after cross the bunny ears so they make an X
step#5: loop the bunny ear over and then under the top bunny ear (this should create a second knot
step#6: the last step is to pull the two bunny ears the opposite directions down so you end up with a nice square knot and the loops that look like bunny ears.
you tied your shoes! wow that's great
I really enjoyed doing this assignment because its not something I would usually write about and it made think more about how the reader would perceive what I have written. It definitely stretched my brain and helped expand my writing skills, although I would rather not do it all the time because I find it a bland kind of writing. I'm happy that I learned how to do this kind of writing in case I ever need to right instructions, likely not, but still good to know.

Me- World History entry #1
In this video our class watched I learned some fascinating things about our world's history, some of the information I was unaware of. For instance did you know that the decisions we make now shape the future? I bet the people who started agriculture weren't aware of that, but look where we are now? With our new ways of foraging and hunting, humongous farms and fields, feeding people all over the world. We also used to only live by shores to have access to water and lets say, fish, but now we've expanded all over the world living in so many different cultures and places! Which led to getting animals that we never had in places such as cows, pigs and chickens so places like America could farm more and produce more. With easier solutions to farming and just general life more people have time sit back and think about new ideas, better ideas. Overall I learned today that our world is continually expanding and coming up with new ideas that help or hinder us, shaping our people and our planet every minute of everyday.
I really liked doing the history journals because I reflected on what I had learned in the video, found the meaning in the words and then express what information I got out of it on paper which was some what a challenge for me. I also learned lots of things about civilizations and agriculture. I found that the information was very interesting.
Me-World History entry #2
Today in in our world history lesson we learned about civilizations. I learned the most cities since pretty much forever have been centered around sources of water which makes sense because rivers mean fertile land which means plants and animals which equals food. I also found out that if you knew how to write you had a higher status and a better way of life more free of poverty and hunger, and did you know that they used clay tokens with symbols to trade?, similar to modern day money. I believe that they looked towards gods and kings because they needed somebody to look after their problems and so they had someone to point fingers at if things went wrong. I also think people decided to live in cities to try their hands at different trades other shepherding which was quite common for awhile. I think that lots of people underestimate how smart and pretty well organized people and civilization was back then, at least I did until I watched that video. I think that we will continue to come up with better ideas in the future but we should also look in the past for ideas for our civilization too.
The Origin Of Halloween
Today we watched a video on the origin of Halloween. I learned that Halloween began about 3000 years ago, but it didn't start as the Halloween we know today. For that to happen a couple cultures had to merge first. The first culture was the religion of the Celts in Ireland, the British Isles and Northern France. They believed that on the last day of the tenth month that the barrier between the spirit world and the living was thin enough for the souls to cross over to our world. Some spirits were nice, but not all. So the Celts would parade outside leaving gifts and sweets to appease the spirits and hid themselves wearing masks and animal skins. They called this samhain. Later the Celts would meet the Romans who worshiped a god of harvest called Pomona. The Romans would thank the god by laying out offerings such as nuts and apples. As the two cultures began to merge together they honored the dead and the harvest. Soon Christianity was a big thing and the churches began to try and force away these other beliefs introducing All Saints Day and All Souls Day in the days after samhain. It was the Pagan vs the Christians. Finally the Christians decided to face this other religion head on making Samhain into something slightly altered to be more christian. Hallows Eve. Which soon became Halloween as we know it today.
The Origin of Halloween was a very interesting subject I learned things I probably never would have if not for the video. I found it slightly difficult to get down all the information, but in the end I was able to weed out the less important bits of information. I really like learning about history so this was definitely something I enjoyed.
