My Vote
If I was old enough to vote, I would choose to vote liberal. I would choose liberal because I believe they would help our country the best and to make it a better place to live in. I think the liberal would look at all the possible options before choosing the plan that would help and benefit our country and our people the best. Canadians have been struggling for years to get ahead, and for most people, things aren't getting better. It's time for a new plan, and a new direction for our economy. While the conservative promise more cuts, the liberal will invest in people, and things that make our everyday lives better. such as transit, roads, clean energy, schools, and hospitals. The basics our country needs to grow and we need in order to get better. The liberal plan to put $20 billion in the next ten years towards affordable housing, child care spaces, and community centers. This will greatly impact how we live and make our country a better place. they also plan to put $6 billion in the next four years towards green infrastructure such as green energy, clean land, and good jobs.
In our region Steve Powrie represents the liberal, I think he is the perfect candidate. Steve Powrie has lots of background history that would help with this this job such as being a well known educator, a musician, and also coached many team sports. I believe that these skills will greatly contribute towards helping our region because he knows what it's like to have a team depend on him, which means he won't cave under pressure, has lots of practice as a speaker which is a must have.
Therefore I believe, because of the facts, that the Liberal is the right choice for our country and will help our economy and our people the best. The Liberal will make a better British Columbia.
It was very interesting writing my vote, I found out about the election and the candidates and I felt involved with the election even though I didn't actually get to vote. The only thing that was kind of tricky was finding good supportive reasons why I chose Steve Powrie. I am very glad about what I learned for that election.
My Opinion of this Course
I really enjoyed this course, I learned things about technology that other ways I would have never learned. I also improved my writing skills, which is awesome, but I would have preferred to have done a more about socials, but I’m guessing that’s what we will be doing the next two terms. Another couple things I would like to do is maybe group novels studies since I really enjoy discussing books with others presentations since I can get better at those. Something I'm very happy about was that we always finished a project before we started another, because that can get stressful. Overall a really good course and an excellent source of education.
